Manufacture and supply of asphalt products

Our extensive range of fixed and mobile asphalt plants across Australia includes the latest High Recycling Technology (HRT) Series mixing plants, designed in partnership with Ammann. These plants are the most advanced facilities of their kind in Australia, capable of producing up to 100 per cent recycled asphalt. We also have the capability to manufacture Reconophalt™, reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) mixes and Low Carbon Asphalt.

Asphalt laying

Our asphalt laying services include mix design, road reseal applications, surface levelling and road construction with full depth asphalt pavements.

We aim to employ the best people and bring the strength and experience of people trained in the latest asphalt paving equipment. Our specialist equipment features advanced levelling and intelligent compaction technologies, and we have wide paving capability to reduce joints and improve ride quality for road users.

Bespoke surfacing

Downer delivers bespoke surfacing solutions from mix design through to asphalt laying for specialist pavements for airports and motor racing tracks.

 

We use leading practice and innovation and have a team of highly skilled Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors with the experience to successfully deliver airport and motorsport projects across Australia.
