Share. Learn. Connect is a pilot series of conversational episodes featuring a different Downer employee as a guest every month to talk about how to embrace difference through leadership.
They will share captivating and relatable stories of resilience and personal growth and reflect on pivotal moments in their personal and professional lives.
Storytelling is a powerful tool when learning about different lived experiences. Sharing experiences not only gives others an unparalleled insight into processes that they may not have experienced first-hand, but also helpd people to relate and realise they aren’t alone.
When we share our struggles, we start to notice that everyone - no matter how successful they might be - has something they had to overcome in their journeys. Our goal here is to create a space where Downer employees are able to share, learn and connect with each other.
Episodes are released monthly. Each episode will be about 15 to 16 minutes and will cover a different topic.
We are always looking for new and diverse stories to tell. If you know of a Downer employee with a great story to tell, or you would like to be part of our podcast series, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you prefer to remain anonymous, use our online suggestion box to submit a suggestion for who we should interview next, or a topic you would like to see covered.
